On-Line Information

Some documents are available in both HTML (looks good in a Web browser) and PostScript or PDF (looks good on paper). Since this course is very mathematical, and HTML offers very poor facilities for including mathematical expressions, many of the handouts are available only in PostScript or PDF. You will need a viewer (or a PostScript printer) in order to use these files (hopefully your Web browser is correctly tied to an appropriate viewer, but if not, then you might have a hard time with these files).

Class Handouts

Current students are welcome to send me anonymous comments. Please don't send me any question that requires an answer (help on a homework problem or something like that). Those questions should be sent by regular (non-anonymous) e-mail.
