CSCI4600 Social Implications of Computer Science

Your grade will be determined by the average of a series
of short quizzes to be given over each chapter and a
presentation. Your presentation grade and
your quiz average will each be worth 50% of your final grade.
Presentations will be on a topic from the textbook. There
are books and articles listed at the
end of a chapter. You may choose any one of these for
your presentation. Plan to limit your presentation
to about 5 minutes.
There will be no other tests or final exam. Attendance is mandatory.
Your final grade will be lowered by 5% for each class you miss after
two. If you are late to class, you may be considered absent.
