CSCE4010 Social Implications of Computer Science
Spring 2006
We are trying this course as an internet course for the first time this spring.
It is accessed through webct vista. The first four lessons are available to
work through at your own pace. We did not get the book changed at the book store. You
may have to order it from Amazon or somewhere else. You may be able to get the
material from the web site or other references that are listed.
Your grade will be determined by the average of
quizzes to be given over each chapter,
and a written report on a topic concerning ethical
behavior.
The written report should be 3-5 pages over a topic of interest to you
concerning an ethical question related to something in the course. You may email

I will have office hours TTH 3-5 pm. Come see me if you need to
talk in person.
Do not worry about the slow start. You have plenty of time to do the course.
